Antonia Cenere, a native of Puglia, Italy is excited about her latest venture, a small family restaurant. She owned and operated Antonia’s Trattorria in Wheaton, Md. for the past 10 years.
Customers who frequent Baronessa feel as though they are dining in Italy. One wall of the restaurant has hand painted murals of Portofino Harbor, Florence, Ponte Vecchio, the Roman Coliseum, and the Canals of Venice.
Antonia, as chef, has made sure her menu is filled with authentic southern Italian dishes she loves. As chef and teacher, Antonia enjoys passing on her knowledge to co-workers and takes great pride in teaching others about the culture and cuisine of her native Italy.
